I also have the G13, I was really excited about it when it was released, but I use it very rarely now. Really great keyboard, the 18 macro keys on the side are great, newer ones don't have as many sadly. I have the old Logitech G15 keyboard, love it so much I bought a second spare, but I'm still using my first one after a number of years. Personally I would recommend the mouse over the keyboard because the keyboard was a shotgun Christmas-birthday present last year that I had barely any information on. Hope this helps your decision in any way. Obviously not a pivotal selling point when considering performance but its a nice feature. One feature I find really comforting is the grooves on either side beneath the main mouse buttons where your thumb and ring finger can rest. Again, I don't pretend to knowledgeably give a side-by-side comparison of its Naga competitors but its the affordability and feel that I really enjoy about this mouse. After using an IR microsoft POS for the better part of 3 years, the upgrade was very welcomed. I just recently bought this and I really like it. I recommend reading the reviews on it to get a better idea on the keyboard. Its got some mixed reviews and I plan to upgrade it after I touch up on more important things (I want / need a new CPU), but for its price its not too bad. It also lets you switch between a Gaming and Typing function which as a college student I find handy. Keyboard: I won't defend to the death that its the best keyboard on the market but it has a better KRO than something like the Razer BlackWidow (although that keyboard and its iterations have customizations for the WASD cluster), as well as customizable keys and profiles. Regardless its Razer and thus i don't like it. but really falls on overkill more than necessity depending on your keyboard setup. It's tough as nails and has more sensitivity than you would ever need. G500 is the one that fits my hand best and has a few extra buttons to boot. Personally I find Logitech to be the best They are used much like the macro except they are located on the mouse to let your left hand catch a breath so it doesn't have to do EVERYTHINGĪgain, anything gaming grade should have a pretty solid response and in games like MMO's the SUPER PRECISE aspect of fps mouses like they put out is completely negligible.Ī) find one that fits your hand and is most comfortable.ī) adds extra keys and has a higher consistency/durability Personally I have a Logitech G5 (older fps mouse) and it has 2 extra buttons (aside from right/left mouse, scroll wheel) This WILL undoubtedly be useful in any million number of ways but obviously not NECESSARY for gameplay. Macro Keys are going to let you program actions to these keys easily. Thus i will be waiting for the logitech version with tons of Macro keys.įor MMO's obviously you want a keyboard with gaming grade response.Īnything over about 20$ is probably going to do that. Personally I like the feel better of a mech keyboard. In mech you actually hear and feel exactly when the button presses. Instead of the keys where you can press them down a certain amount and at some random point the key activates. The real reason you would get one is because you prefer the tactile feel of the more "CLICK" when you actually press the key. There is a MINUSCULE performance difference that is indeed negligible The mechanical is the opposite, but still with the response you need in a gaming keyboard. The downside of this is accidentally hitting some keys.Īnd not being able to rest your finger on the key. Many gaming keyboard attempt to have key light pressure to invoke a keystroke You know most standard desktop keys are a little harder to press down than the very sleek and short travel of the laptop. Its kinda the difference you notice from desktop to laptop The advantage of a mechanical board is a completely different feel. Is SWTOR worth trying?
